This is a joint celebration of having the historical home completed after Hurricane Katrina damaged it and celebrating the Pres. of the Confederacy's birthday. Hope everyone can try to make it!



10am Tuesday June 3, 2008
200th Birthday Celebration for Jefferson Davis and Grand reopening of Beauvoir House. Come join us for this historical event.

Man I wish I could be there. I am going to ask my Doc if I can travel by then, if so I will be there for sure. If you make it George I have several bricks I donated in the names of Sanders/ Raines, not sure if they will have the bricks layed out by State or simply as they are donated in no particular order. In fact I'm not even sure if the Bricks for Beauvoir are in place yet?

Thanks George and I will for sure. I know there are so many events going on this month in addition to President Jeff Davis Bicentennial Birth Day evets is difficult to choose which ones to attend.

Exactly I have never saw so many events across the country. It is nearly impossible to add tall of them to the calender. I plan to try to make the Vicksburg event as well.
