What where fireballs?When the Souths supply of coal was exhausted, city dwellers mixed coal dust, sawdust, sand, and wet clay into hardened lumps called "fireballs" which they used to heat their homes.

Please don't say we would still be using fireballs, I like gas heat!!!

Wonder how someone came up with the idea of mixing all of these different materials together???
