I don't know what the problem is. With the Sesquicentennial around the corner, certainly the SCV should be anxious to bring to light all of the previously ignored facts regarding the war including the horrific treatment of Confederate soldiers by the North. God knows, we get enough crap about Andersonville which was not the fault of the South! A POW/MIA medal would be a great seller for those who had ancestors in that situation.

This is just another missed opportunity, frankly. I don't know whether their problem is pc or stupidity, but it's a danged shame.

Can you publish particulars about the vote here so it can be widely disseminated? Thanks.
