Folks April is Confederate History Month. I urge each and every member and reader to have something ready to post. It doesn't matter what is presented as long as it relates to Confedearte history -- pictures, letters, family history, in memory of, famous decendants of Confederate soldiers, pictures of headstones of etc. etc. I would like to have something posted each and every day. This can only be successful if you join in.
In addition for those of you who live in Southern States, or any State for that matter check with your Governors office to make sure they proclaim April as Confederate History and Heritage Month. We are fortunate enough in Alabama for example having April of each year designated perpetually ( I say that oh so carefully) but I do have the Governors signed Proclamation saying so. So check out your State and if they have without notice decided to no longer designate April as Confederate Heritage and History Month THEN RAISE SOME HELL.
