Confederate Territory of Arizona formed (147 years ago) today 18 Jan 1862, bet ya'll did not know Arizona had its own Confederate Terriority did ya?

i recently read an article about a confederate burial site in arizona. if i'm not mistaken the scv was working on marking it. i'll try to locate the article again.

I had heard something about it, but in all honestly I know very little about that part of the country. Maybe gator can give us an education.
