UPDATE ******Randy take that group email I sent out on gmail and group them in your computer, that way you can contact all members when you need to in your capacity as Membership Director.
Randy I need for you to round up all email addresses for all "current members" so we can send our mass emails to all when we need to. Consider this an urgent project.
got the message mark, just got to figure out how to do it with out copying all the addresses by hand. a few folks have joined without contacting me. will try to do something saturday.
Randy Last time I did it I had to start at member, click on their email, copy and paste it on open word document, and then paste it into my SHAPE group email contact list one at a time. Its best to try to get thier address when they join and do it, now we probably have 20-30 more to do and its time consuming. If there is a better way someone PLEASE chime in
Can you open a thread in the "members only" section and ask folks to post their name and e-mail addresses? You might not get them all, but you might get quite a few and at least you might get the newbies.
You could put the announcement on the first page, as it were, where you are presently announcing the chat room meeting for next Saturday. That way all the members will see it.
Also George I do not think the numbers thing is an issue, we need to scrub our "members list" and only list those of whom you provided email addresses for, don't you agree?
