All info submitted by Fred Thompson

George, I am sending you a picture of the Marker. I purchased it in California, shipped it to my Neice in Longview, TX. They installed it in Russellville, Arkansas.
I have included some of the correspondence to the VA, the cemetery in Mississippi, Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas, asking for assistance, however you are the best assistance I got, after almost 4 years I am proud of your advice about
“ IN MEMORY OF”. That made it happen for me.
Again I am so glad you gave me the advice to continue.

Yes, I was at Gulfport for a school, and shipped out to Desert Storm in 1991 from Gulfport. NMCB-16 retired from CBMU 303 in 2000.

I have included pictures of my Wife, myself and our son Captain Shea Scott Thompson Change of Command in San Diego.
He had just finished being Captain of the Bunker Hill CG-52.
Your, Ship and Brother Seabee
