Do you know what was so unusual about this Company Commander under Gen Banard E. Bee at First Manassas?

Lieutenant Bufords real name was Loreta Velaques and she was a woman who had entered the Confederate Army disguised as a man, a cover up she claimed to have maintained for almost half of the war
